More deaths from coronavirus have been reported at Lincolnshire Hospitals, but the number of new cases appears to be slowing down.

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust this afternoon reported that four more of its patients being cared for in its hospitals died after being tested positive with coronavirus.

It brings the total number of deaths at ULHT Hospitals- which operate at Grantham, Lincoln, Boston and Louth- to 61. But as always the trust won't say in which hospitals the deaths occurred in.

A statement added: "The patients were three men aged 62, 68 and 84, and one woman aged 75. All had underlying health conditions."

The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which operates Stamford Hospital, reported an extra death today at Peterborough City Hospital, bringing the total there to 26.

All patients were aged 30-90 with pre-existing conditions, the trust added.

Public Health England, which records the number of coronavirus cases being treated in hospital said Lincolnshire now has a total of 480 cases, up 16 on yesterday.

Leicestershire increased 13 to 553.

North East Lincolnshire was up 4 at 79.

North Lincolnshire remained at 124.

Rutland increased two to 11.

Nationally, the UK reported 5,252 more cases, giving 93,873 in total.

The number of deaths increased 778 to 12,107, according to the figures.
