Grantham attempted murder suspects released with no further action - police investigation 'concluded'

The nine people arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an altercation at a house in Grantham last month have been released with no further action.

Lincolnshire Police confirmed today (Tues) that the investigation 'has now concluded'.

Six women and three men - aged between 28 and 52 - were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Sunday, 22 September following the incident at a house in Finkin Street the previous night.

They were released on bail the following day while police investigations continued.

A 38-year-old man sustained a non-life threatening puncture wound to his abdomen during the altercation and was taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham.
