Coronavirus crisis: Six more dead across Greater Lincolnshire

Six more people across Greater Lincolnshire have died with coronavirus, according to government figures released this afternoon.

Two deaths were reported in Lincolnshire's hospitals, with one at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust facilities and another being cared for by Lincolnshire Community Health Services.

The victim under the care United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust was a man aged 80 with underlying conditions. He brought the total number of deaths in Lincolnshire to 113.

The Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals reported four deaths today, bringing their total to 76.

Nationally, the death toll increased by 693 to 29,247.

The number of cases, according to NHS England, increased by 4,406 to 194,990.

Across the region, Leicestershire saw its total number of cases increase 17 to 984.

Lincolnshire went up five to 884.

North East Lincolnshire went up one to 137.

North Lincolnshire saw a jump of 14 to 406.

Peterborough's total increased eight to 265.

And Rutland reported another confirmed case, putting it's total at 22, according to how the government counts the number.
