Grantham Police warn of text message scams

Grantham Police has warned of an increase in incidents regarding scam text messages from HSBC and Lloyds bank.

They also warn of scam phone calls claiming to be from Virgin media.

A warning posted on social media advised: "Please be vigilant and do not give any personal information out and and also check if the messages and phone calls received are from the company."

In the comments below, people replied they had also similar scam text messages and calls from NatWest, HSBC, PayPal, Sky, HMRC, Ebay, Amazon and others.
