Witnesses sought to fatal collision north of Grantham

The collision on the A607 north of Grantham has sadly been declared fatal by Lincolnshire Police.

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following the fatal collision on the A607 earlier today (4th April)

A statement said: "At 12:02pm, we received a call reporting a collision near the Belton Garden Centre in Grantham.

"The collision involved a motorcycle and a silver Toyota Corolla. The motorcycle rider, a man in his 50s from the Derbyshire area, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

"A section of the A607 was closed in both directions during the incident while emergency services were in attendance.
