Update: nine arrested in Grantham attempted murder investigation released on bail

Nine people arrested in connection with the attempted murder investigation in Grantham on Saturday (21 Sept) have been released on bail.
Officers were called to the house in Finkin Street at around 10.35pm after receiving reports of a man being seriously assaulted.
Six women and three men aged between 28 and 52 were arrested for the offence of attempted murder.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said today: "Our investigation continues following an altercation at a house in Finkin Street, which was reported to us at about 10.35pm.
"The victim, a 38-year-old man, was taken to Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham. He sustained a puncture wound to his abdomen but the injury was not life-threatening.
"At this stage this is believed to have been an incident restricted to the group of people who were arrested.
"We appreciate that this may have been an unsettling incident for people in the town, and patrols are ongoing in the area. The scene guard has now been lifted."
