At least six vehicles in Grantham have been targeted by thieves this weekend.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "After six incidents overnight of theft from vehicles in Grantham we are asking local people to check if they have been a victim.

"Areas affected include Ormonde Close, Huntingtower Road and Hudson Way.

"All incidents occurred at some point overnight on 16/17 June.

"Officers fear there may be further reports to come as some people may not yet know they have fallen victim, or may have not yet have reported the incident.

"If you have been the victim of theft from vehicle, or if you have any information to assist us in the investigation, please call 101."
