Second 'incident' blocks A1 bypass at Grantham

An 'incident' on the Grantham by-pass led to the A1 to be closed in both directions early this morning.
Lincolnshire Police tweeted this morning that the 'incident' had happened at Gorse Bridge, Barrowby.
According to the AA, the south-bound carriageway remains closed.
This is the second such 'incident' affecting the Grantham by-pass this week.
On Monday, the body of a 69-year-old man was found by the Millennium Bridge , leading to the road to be closed for several hours.
