Amended plans for a major housing scheme to the west of Grantham have been approved.

The application to South Kesteven District Council concerns plans for 227 homes off Dysart Road, which have already been approved.

Applicant Ilke Homes sought the non-material amendment to reflect its current building designs.

The site will include 227 homes, public open space, play area, associate infrastructure works, including drainage.

As Nub News recently reported, the development will feature factory-built homes made in Yorkshire and delivered to the site.

Some 140 of the modular homes will be made available at affordable rent levels, 47 for shared ownership and 40 homes will be for private sale at market value.

The homes are expected to be delivered this year.
