A Grantham group which provided much support to the vulnerable during the earlier lockdowns is gearing up to do it again.

And with the country now in its third national lockdown, almost ten months after the first, Grantham Bhive is seeking volunteers again.

The group's Susan Swinburn said on Facebook: "As we enter a higher state of lockdown and more people are advised to shield we need more local volunteers to help us with our shopping and prescription collections.

"We are registered and insured with the county council.

"Please contact us if you can help us to keep Granthams vulnerable community members safe."

People are asked to email [email protected]

Or phone 01476 592775 Susan added: "If the lines are busy please leave your number and name and we will call you back. "Many thanks for helping us to keep our community safe."
