Police have launched an appeal for help and information in tracing a witness following an arson attack at Westgate Social Club in Grantham.

Lincolnshire Police are looking for one particular female witness who may be able to help with their investigation into the incident on Thursday February 13.

Two young men are believed to have entered Westgate Social Club and started a fire on the first floor.

When firefighters from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue arrived on the scene, a woman spoke to the Incident Commander and said she had video footage that could help with identifying the suspects. But the woman left in a Fiat 500 (pictured) before her contact details could be taken.

Officers would like to trace that woman because they believe she may have information that could help in their investigation.

They are asking her, or anyone who knows who she might be, to get in contact via the non-emergency number 101, quoting incident number 148 of 13/02/2020; y emailing [email protected] putting the reference 148 of 13/02/2010 in the subject box.

Information can also be given through the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or on-line at crimestoppers-uk.org.
