I am the Conservative Party Candidate for Hough Division and have served as your County Councillor for the last four years, delivering on the local improvements needed for our rural area.

I care deeply about our community and have lived locally all my life, growing up in the village of Ancaster and now living in Long Bennington with my partner. I am a qualified Chartered Accountant working at a local firm for a number of years, so have an acute understanding of the needs of our local farms, businesses and charities.

In my spare time I enjoy fell-walking, kayaking and fishing I also keenly follow both England and Notts County cricket teams.

Since 2017 I have represented our villages with a real focus on local issues and helped deliver a number of key local projects.

These include securing council funding for Long Bennington zebra crossing, parking bays on Back Lane, Caythorpe, speed limit reductions through Brandon, Gelston and on the A607 and drainage improvements in Claypole and Carlton Scroop. I've also been pleased to develop cycle scheme proposals for Long Bennington and secure council funding towards a village-wide flood alleviation scheme, with works expected in 2022.

By being a member of the Conservative team I have been best placed to represent our villages and deliver these much needed improvements.

Road maintenance is one of the biggest issues for our rural areas and I have used regular site meetings to raise your local priories. Surface dressing schemes last year in Claypole, Stubton, Dry Doddington and Westborough and carriageway replacement of the A607 will improve the longevity of local roads, with more schemes planned for 2021.

With your support in these elections I will continue championing our area and delivering projects that better the lives of local residents and our village communities. I have a track record of getting things done and ask that you put your trust in me again to be a strong voice for our villages at County Hall.
