The International Trade Minister has visited Grantham to see businesses confident of future trade deals.

Mr Ranil Jaywardena also met with Lincolnshire County Council leader Coun Martin Hill and Grantham and Stamford MP Gareth Davies during the visit last week.

They called in at businesses such as Korbond in Grantham, where they discussed new trade and growth opportunities for UK businesses.

Coun Hill said: "Korbond who retail cotton here in Grantham are a really heartening story. They're actually ready to take advantage of new trading situations and have already starting to export.

"With the support of the government and the council, I'm confident that as a small business they can grow a lot in the future, employ more people and importantly bring wealth to the county."
