A Grantham minibus hire company is offering free transport for the elderly or vulnerable who may be struggling to get to their Covid-19 vaccination.

The family-run Wormall's Minibus Hire made the offer on Facebook on Wednesday, receiving more than 600 shares and nearly 200 comments.

The company's Jordan Wormall said: "Good evening, with news coming through that the Meres Leisure Centre will be Grantham's local vaccination centre we want to help where we can.

"So for the vunerable & elderly we are offering FREE transport for anyone struggling to make there covid vaccination appointment whether its at there GP practice in Grantham or the Meres vaccination centre.

"This offer is for Grantham and surrounding villages only.

"We will pick you up from your home address and return you home after you've had your jab completely free of charge.

"So if you know anyone in the above categories please get in touch.
