A Grantham businesswoman is staging a fundraiser and opening a pop-up shop for a mental health charity to celebrate her two years in business.

Melissa Darcey is staging the event at the Bhive Community Hub this Friday.

She said: "Friday 1st October marks my 2nd year in business and I'm so pleased to be able to celebrate in person this year!"

"I will be holding my first ever Pop-up shop and re-launching my face to face business with the first of many pop-up shops to come

"I will have a selection of our amazing products (including our 2021 festive ranges) available for you to smell, feel and look at before you buy, lots of Christmas 2021 Catalogues for you to have a browse and complete your Christmas shopping in one place with me, stress free! "

The event runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm at the venue at 11a Finkin Street.

Coffee and Tea will be available for 50p with all money going to The Place2Bee Men's Mental Health Group as well as some cakes to celebrate this special occasion.

People are asked to bring cash for the raffle.

Melissa, who lives at Great Gonerby, created AquaBees Beauty in October 2019, after previous roles in customer service, administration and sales.

Educated at Kesteven Grantham Girls School, she has a certificate and a diploma in Accounting.

Melissa is also well known for her work in campaigns concerning Grantham Hospital.

On her company website, she said: "AquaBees Beauty is an independent marketing business promoting luxury, affordable Skincare, Bath and Body Care and so much more!

"All of our beauty products are 100% Vegetarian, mostly vegan and Forever Against Animal Testing!"

The single-mum to three boys added: "Working from home and running my own business has allowed me to be a full-time mum.

"I have an active role in my children's lives as well as earning money to put food on the table and I don't have to feel guilty about not being able to attend school events or special occasions as I can work my diary around them……how many jobs do you know where you have this kind of flexibility?"
