Grantham killing: Man appears in court charged with manslaughter of town woman

A Grantham Man accused of murdering a woman in town appeared before Lincoln Magistrates earlier today.

Julio Jesus was charged with the manslaughter of Daniella Espirito Santo, aged 23 of Chestnut Grove, Grantham.

He also faced a separate charge of assault causing actual bodily harm also on Daniella Espirito Santo.

Both offences relate to separate incidents during Wednesday April 8 at Chestnut Grove, Grantham.

The 30 year-old from Beechcroft Road, Grantham, was remanded in custody and will appear in Lincoln Crown Court on Monday May 11.

By this afternoon, flowers had been place outside the block of flats where the killing of Daniella is said to have happened late on Wednesday night.
