The call is out for Grantham residents to show their support for the town's hospital by 'love-bombing' the hospital trust that downgraded its A&E department.

The call on social media follows hospital campaigners launching a fresh campaign with a heart symbol to show the town's 'love' for the hospital.

People are also urged to download the symbol from the Fighting 4 Grantham website and use it in campaigning and cover Grantham in the hearts.

Mel said earlier today on Facebook: "Come on folks.... Hearts 4 Grantham.... â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ We are getting financial support from Counsellor's for this campaign guys......
