A much delayed Roman romp will finally be coming to Grantham.

The Grantham Dramatic Society has announced it will be going ahead with a November 2021 production of Eric Porter's 'Vice Versa'!

Originally, the society was to perform the comedy at the Guildhall last summer and then in June earlier this year, but lockdown restrictions prevented this.

Now, it is seeking cast members for the performances, which as due before, will be held at the Guildhall from November 17 to the 20th.

The society began having run throughs of the play last night and will be staging another tomorrow, Thursday September 2 at 7.30pm.

The society has posted on social media: "Everyone is welcome to join us and register your interest in the show.

"In addition, to our autumn production, there are also further opportunities available to get involved as we are also developing a number of heritage costumed walks, in and around town.

"The first of these will be working with the Woodland Trust and National Trust on their 'Reconnecting Grantham' project connecting Belton House, Bellmount Tower & Londonthorpe Wood as part of the upcoming Heritage Open Days.

Anyone with any queries, are asked to email [email protected] or get in touch with the society via social media.
