A shop selling luxury chocolate will officially open on Saturday, with a 'soft' launch the day before.

Cocoa-Amore will be in Guildhall Street, which adds to other stores at Belvoir Castle's Engine Yard and Leicester.

As Nub News recently reported, owner Peter Gardner has been making chocolate since 2009, and he hopes the Grantham store will provide the template for a nationwide franchise.

Today, Peter and his staff were busily stocking the shelves in time for the imminent opening.

He earlier told Nub News: "My stores offer selections of hand made chocolates as well as seasonal hot chocolates, gelatos, cookies, brownies, frappe shakes and chocolate making workshops at the Leicester store and the new Grantham store."

However, the cafe side of things will be a couple of weeks away due to a delay in obtaining some indoor seating.
