Grantham: A52 now cleared following accident

The A52 is now cleared following an accident which blocked the road in both directions.
The closure was first reported around 5.30am this morning and caused congestion in the area.
The AA said this was caused by an accident, though they gave no extra details.
Traffic reportedly was queuing traffic several miles in each direction.
The accident was reported to have happened between Village Street / Woolsthorpe Lane (Sedgebrook Village turn) and Rectory Lane (Barrowby turn).
The AA said it was first reported to them at 5.33am.
There was congestion to Eastthorpe (Eastbound) and the A1 (approaching West from Grantham).
Backroads in the area were also reported to be busy.
Police have since reported injuries as minor.
