David Wilson Homes employee puts her money where her mouth is with new Grantham home

By The Editor 10th Sep 2019

A David Wilson Homes employee and her partner have taken their first step on the property ladder after purchasing one of the company's properties in Grantham.

Ellis Hutchinson (22) and Ashley Mclean (28), originally from Bottesford and Waltham on the Wolds respectively, took advantage of the homebuilder's Help to Buy scheme and used Ellis' expert knowledge to purchase their first property together.

Formerly a sales adviser and now an Expressions Coordinator, Ellis knows the properties inside out and decided to purchase a two bedroom semi-detached home at Newton's Place.

She said: "I know the product very well and have seen the finished standards that we provide. I also know that we have an amazing aftercare service, so with this we felt more at ease and assured buying our new home.

"We chose a new build property so we could have a brand new, sparkly home."

Ellis understands the importance of a supportive service both before and after the move and she has now experienced this as a customer when purchasing her Wilford style home.

"The whole experience has been exceptional," Ellis, who grew up in Grantham, added.

Rachael Harrison, Sales Director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands, said: "It's always great to hear that one of our employees has moved into a David Wilson property, as it shows they believe in the quality and practicality of the product they are designing and selling.

"Most importantly, we're delighted that Ellis and Ashley are enjoying their new home at Newton's Place as the development has a great deal to offer a range of different buyers."

More than 85 percent of new homes at Newton's Place have been sold, with a collection of four bedroom properties currently available from £297,995.
