Gloria Hunniford, television personality and darling of ITV's Loose Women, has re-joined her fellow lunchtime presenters in the studio and shown off her face covering made by Grantham company Angel Med.

Gloria, back live on the show after 13 weeks of lockdown when she joined in remotely, expressed her fears about the COVID19 pandemic and her need to feel safe when venturing out in public again.

Having celebrated her 80th birthday in lockdown, she told viewers that she was 'on the cusp of diabetes'.

That, together with her husband's health issues, had made her take self-isolation extremely seriously.

"I am nervous about getting back out there again", said Gloria, also a presenter of the BBC's Rip Off Britain programme.

"That may sound crazy but we still don't understand much about this virus.

"I just have this horrible feeling that it might just get worse again. I am not a pessimist but I am being cautious about it."

Angel Med has now supplied vets, hotels, hairdressers, GP practitioners, midwives and construction companies with its 4DflexiSPORT® washable, re-usable and highly breathable respiratory face covering, with sales all over the UK and into America.

Managing Director Barbara Thompson said: "We are delighted that Gloria Hunniford has chosen our face mask, as she is clearly taking her own personal safety very seriously.

"I have since spoken to Gloria, who has now felt confident enough to fly to France on holiday because she's wearing our mask.

"We now have vets and hairdressers successfully combining a full visor with our mask. They can be heard perfectly with no fogging of their visor or their glasses!

"For discerning users wanting a mask that has some science behind it, we offer the all-important close facial fit using fabric that delivers the best defence against an airborne viral threat.

"A scientific paper just published shows our mask outperforms rivals, including NHS face coverings, and we are getting many customers who've made their own but, for different reasons, now want to upgrade."
