A sharp rise in the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Lincolnshire has been reported today.
However, South Kesteven has just reported one more case, according to official government figures.
NHS England this afternoon reported that the number of confirmed cases in Lincolnshire increased from 916 to 977 today, giving the county a rate of 129.3 cases per 100,000 of population.
But the increase still puts the county at half the 246.4 cases per 100,000 rate of the whole of England, which has 137,940 confirmed cases and 29,260 reported deaths.
Rutland reported one more confirmed case, putting it at 26 confirmed cases, with a rate of 68.0 per 100,000 population, the fourth best of the lower tier authorities in the country.
Among the districts South Kesteven increased one to 146, giving it a rate of 102.9.
Melton also increased one to 57 confirmed cases, giving it a rate of 111.5.
North Kesteven increased four to 125 (107.8).
Peterborough stayed on 295 cases (146.7).
However, South Holland today reported a sharp increase from 132 to 179, giving it a rate of 190.5.
Across the UK, the number of new cases increased 3,404 to 226,423.
The number of deaths increased by 627 to 32,692.
The United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust today, however, reported no more deaths.
But the Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust reported the county's first death in a mental health facility- a 88-year-old man with underlying health conditions.
Four other fatalities have been reported at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Trust.
The latest figures bring the number of people who have died in Greater Lincolnshire hospital facilities to 208.
