Golf clubs in the Grantham area will be re-opening tomorrow.

The move follows the latest government guidelines but fresh regulations will see numbers limited and other safety measures.

The 800-member Belton Park Golf Club on Londonthorpe Road, Grantham, will be open for members-only from 7am, who must also pre-book.

General manager Steve Rowley told Grantham Nub News: "Our members have been cooped up for two months. We are not able to take any outside visitors at the moment.

"Our members have been climbing the walls like the rest of us. They will be looking forward to their rounds."

But social distancing must be followed, so players will play in two balls at ten minute intervals.

Steve continued: "All sorts of modifcations have been made on the golf course. There is no touching of equipment, no touching of the flags, no sharing of the benches, just general social distancing and common sense."

The 'nineteenth hole' is also closed.

Sudbrook Moor Golf Club at Carlton Scroop also re-opens tomorrow to members only.

They too must be pre-book and in line with government guidelines, the club also emphasises social distancing.

The golf shop, club house and changing rooms will also be locked.

The numbers allowed in a booking are also restricted.

Stoke Rochford Golf Club also similarly re-opens tomorrow for members only.
