Groups across Grantham and surrounding areas are spreading joy by painting pebbles and rocks and leaving them for people to find.

Maz Stringer of Grantham told Nub News: "I wonder how many everyone can find, photo, and rehide in order to bring a smile to another person."

Maz wants people to post a photo of a painted pebble to the relevent Facebook group so members can watch the painted rocks travel.

Maybe others can also help her and others "spread even more smiles" by decorating their own rocks and hiding them around the town.

"Just don't forget to write on the back which group you want your rock posted to so you can see it travel too!"

Maz further commented: "Always check the back of the rock to find the group so the members can see their rocks travel.

"Let's try and cover the town with smiles to help bring as much joy and happiness we can during these strange and difficult times.

"It's a wonderful hobby and has even managed to get people (particularly children) who have been anxious about being outside for various reasons to enjoy going out to hide and hunt for rocks."
