Coronavirus crisis: Lincolnshire reports five more dead as county cases rise sharply

Five more patients have died of coronavirus in Lincolnshire, with the county also reporting a sharp rise in fresh cases of the illness.
The United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust this afternoon confirmed the deaths, which it said brought the total number of deaths at its hospitals to 58.
A statement said: ""The patients were three women aged 52, 67 and 77, and two men aged 72 and 85. All had underlying health conditions."
Nationally, the number of deaths reported by the NHS this afternoon was 717 over the previous 24 hours, bringing a grand total of 11,329.
The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus now stands at 88,621, an increase of 4,342 on the day before.
Leicestershire now has 540 confirmed cases, up from the 507 reported yesterday.
Lincolnshire saw its numbers rise from 413 to 464.
Peterborough saw its numbers increase from 101 to 102.
North Lincolnshire saw its numbers increase from 95 to 125.
North East Lincolnshire saw an increase from 64 to 75.
Rutland again remained at nine.
The North West Anglia Foundation NHS Trust, which treats patients from Bourne, Stamford and the Deepings, did not issue an update today.
