InvestSK, South Kesteven's economic growth and regeneration company, is to hold an online event next week dedicated to supporting businesses in South Kesteven's hospitality and tourism industry and outlining the future opportunities for the sector as it moves towards recovery.

Businesses operating across the tourism and hospitality sector are invited to attend the free event on Wednesday 29th July to find out what support is available and hear about InvestSK's vision and plans for promoting South Kesteven as a visitor destination.

Cllr Rosemary Trollope-Bellew, South Kesteven District Council's cabinet member for culture and visitor economy who will open the event and welcome delegates, said: "The tourism and hospitality sector is incredibly important to South Kesteven's economy so we're keen to offer focused support to help businesses in the industry recover and move forward.

"As lockdown restrictions ease and people gain more confidence to holiday in the UK, we want to make sure South Kesteven is on their radar. The district is a fantastic place to visit - in fact few places in Lincolnshire offer such an exciting variety of things to see and do - so we need to make sure our businesses and leisure attractions can reopen and are ready to safely welcome visitors back."

Steve Bowyer, CEO of InvestSK, said: "InvestSK's events form part of our ongoing engagement with local companies to make sure we understand business' needs as we move

towards economic recovery. "We're pleased to be hosting this event specifically for tourism and hospitality businesses and attractions in South Kesteven so we can make sure they have the relevant information and focused support to aid their recovery. There'll also be time for open questions and informal discussions, so delegates can share experiences and learn from each other." Free to attend, the event will take place in the form of a Zoom webinar from 10.30am – 11.20am on Wednesday 29th July. Please register in advance by visiting: www.investsk.co.uk/events
