Grantham's Savoy Cinema has donated its stock to the town's police officers.

The stock came about following the closure of the cinema in March as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

Grantham Police commented: "Savoy have kindly donated their stock to us. As well as providing treats for officers, we have distributed this to local charities who we know are so grateful for this and will make a huge difference.

"It's great to see community spirit so high, when many of us in the community are feeling so low.

"We hope everyone is staying safe "
