With Christmas just around the corner, Stamford Arts Centre and the Guildhall Arts Centre in Grantham have announced a packed programme of online events to enjoy this winter.

Due to the popularity of their autumn online events, they've now moved 2020's festivities online so audiences can still enjoy the yuletide season from their own home.

From festive craft workshops, children's play-at-home theatre, folk music and - of course - the all-important pantomime, there is something on offer for everyone this Christmas season.

There are Festive crafts workshops where there's a chance to join local artist Jane Schofield online to make seasonal decorations with a contemporary twist with two fabulous workshops. Participants can make paper garlands, bunting and felted wool Christmas tree decorations.

There will also be Interactive family dramas. As many venues couldn't open this year, Lyngo Theatre has developed a show you join in with from home - not just watch! It's a creative-play project for families with children under 10 which will get children and adults ready for their celebrations. The Play@Home project The Gift of Winter is filled with music, craft ideas, stop motion animation and more - the perfect way to spend Christmas with the children and grandchildren.

If you're looking for some musical cheer this Christmas, look no further than McGoldrick, McCusker and Doyle. The folk trio have recorded a very special streaming Christmas at home show. The multi award winning trio have recorded a 45-minute set full of Christmas tunes as well as some firm favourites.

There's a special treat for jazz fans this Christmas, as Jeanie Barton performs as part of Stamford and Guildhall Arts Centre's online jazz concert series. She'll be joined by renowned Midlands pianist Stephen Sherriff as they explore some of their favourite festive repertoire as a vocal and piano duo.

Christmas isn't the same without a pantomime, so Stamford and Guildhall Arts Centres are excited to be able to bring the magic of pantomime directly into everyone's home. Working alongside Polka Dot Pantomimes and the Original Online Panto Company, they present Sleeping Beauty!

All ticket proceeds from all events will directly support both the Stamford and Guildhall Arts Centres and the artists during this time.
