Air ambulance on scene as A1 crash near Grantham causes severe delays

An air ambulance is on the scene following a crash which has caused severe delays on the A1 near Grantham.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area following a collision which has closed the A1 in both directions near Great Ponton and Easton.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police confirmed: "We are dealing with an RTC reported at 12.09pm on the A1 Great North Road, Easton, near the Skellington turn off.
"The road is currently blocked. We will update you when we have further information."
