A1 northbound back open at Grantham after collision involving two lorries

The A1 northbound at Grantham was closed earlier today between the B1174 turn-off and that of the A52.
It has now just re-opened.
The closure followed what Highways England called a 'serious collision' at 1am.
AA Roadwatch reported around 8am today: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to recovery work, accident, two lorries involved and accident investigation work on A1 Northbound from B1174 (Grantham South / Little Ponton Junction) to A52 (Grantham North / Barrowby Turn Off)."
No further details were given.
