Twice-a-week car boot sales are to start in Grantham next week.

Grantham Bowl, off Dysart Road, will be running the sales on Tuesday's and Thursdays, from Tuesday August 4.

Sellers will enter at 11am and pay £7 a car or £12 a large van, plus £3 for trailers.

Buyers will enter at 12-noon and pay 30p admission.

A range of measures have been introduced to help deliver safety. Contactless payments are preferred though cash is still accepted.

Customers are urged to use hand sanitiser regularly, with dispensers available for customer use.

Hand Washing facilities are also available in toilets.

People can choose whether or not to wear a face covering but social distancing is expected.

The boot sales come as the venue re-opens on Saturday, with the diner also open for food and drinks.
