South Kesteven District Council is investigating a "substantial" fly-tip north of Grantham.

The district council said today that it would look for evidence at the site near Fulbeck before the rubbish was taken away.

SKDC has also thanks those who reported the incident to them.

The council urged anyone who sees people tipping rubbish, or can help its investigation into this incident, to ring 01476 406080.

A council statement on social media added: "Always check your waste carrier is legal and registered via 03708 506506 or at https://bit.ly/check-waste-carrier "
