Police car damaged in Grantham collision as major road is blocked

A police car was damaged during a incident on Springfield Road, Grantham, earlier today.

Two other vehicles also appear to have been damaged near the railway bridge.

Springfield Road is also blocked off from the junction with London Road and near to the junction with Wilks Road.

The circumstances behind the incident remain a mystery.

But a police helicopter was seen flying above at around 11am.

A police car was also seen patrolling the nearby 'Bovis' estate around this time.

Sirens could also be heard.

There are also reports of people fleeing vehicles.

Nub News has sought comment from Lincolnshire Police.
