A Grantham man has been "committed in custody" after admitting a charge of causing grievous bodily harm in the town centre at the weekend.

Twenty-seven-year-old Luke Templeman, of Launder Terrace, appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court yesterday (Mon).

He was arrested and and later charged with GBH following an incident in Westgate late on Friday night (28 Feb) which left another man with a serious head injury.

Lincolnshire Magistrates' Court told Grantham Nub News: "The matter has been committed in custody to Lincoln Crown Court for sentence on a date/time to be fixed.

"An indicated plea of guilty was given on 02/03/2020 at Lincoln Magistrates' Court."
