Plans have been submitted to demolish a former food factory in Grantham.

Brackley Developments Ltd wishes to demolish a metal clad framed food factory and associated hard-standing "to facilitate new development."

The site concerns Recipe Dish Co, Fenland Foods, on Turnpike Close.

The application to South Kesteven District Council says demolition is hoped to start in August with completion in November.

The aim is to provide space for a "mixed use industrial/commercial development," the application also said.
