After impressing as Trialist 2 on Saturday in The Gingerbreads' win against Ilkeston Town, Jacob Green has rejoined the squad.

Jacob came into the club at the end of last season from Frickley Athletic. 

The Gingerbreads will be holding an open training session on Tuesday (6 Aug) followed by a 'Get to know us' session attended by players, managers and board members in Venue 1874.

"With the pre-season friendly cancelled at Worksop we thought this was the ideal time for everyone to get together," explains club joint manager Paul Rawden.

The Gingerbreads are looking for a superfan to film and edit all the club's home matches.

The successful candidate will not only need to have their own equipment, but highlights will have to be edited and uploaded to the club's YouTube channel, Grantham Town TV, within 36 hours of each match.

Rodrigo Silva has signed a two-year contract with The Gingerbreads.

Experienced striker Craig Westcarr is the latest signing by The Gingerbreads' joing managers Paul Rawden and Russ Cousins.

The 34-year-old started his career at Nottingham Forest before spells at Notts County, Chesterfield, Walsall, Portsmouth and Mansfield Town in the Football League. Craig also represented England at numerous youth levels.
