The Gingerbreads' joint managers Paul Rawden and Russ Cousins have confirmed the team's pre-season fixture list and say it will 'test the squad'.

Paul said: "We've given ourselves fixtures which are going to test the squad.

"They all should be competitive enough for us to see what a player can do for us.

"You find out a lot more from a player during a match situation than any training session.

"This is what pre-season is all about. It's making sure when the league kicks off in August we're fit and ready. Pre-season allows us to ensure that the squad will know their jobs within the team."

The fixtures are as follows:

July

Saturday 6 July - Away - Boston Town

Tuesday 9 July - Home - Grimsby Town

Saturday 13 July - Away - Harrowby United (South Kesteven Cup)

Tuesday 16 July - Away - Newark Flowserve

Friday 19 July - Away - Cotgrave

Tuesday 23 July - Home - Boston United

Saturday 27 July - Home - Nuneaton Borough

Tuesday 30 July - Home - Peterborough Sports

August

Saturday 3 August - Away - Ilkeston Town

Wednesday 7 August - Home - Worksop Town

Saturday 10 August - Away - Stamford All matches are subject to change. In the Lincolnshire Senior Cup, Grantham Town FC will visit the winners of Grimsby Town and Gainsborough Trinity in the quarter final. This match will be played before the 3 August. Saturday 20th July has been kept free for a potential South Kesteven Cup tie. Kick-off times for all pre-season fixtures will be confirmed closer to each fixture.
