Woman wanted in connection with string of offences - including outraging public decency - arrested in Grantham

A woman who failed to attend Lincoln Magistrates Court on Friday (Aug 9) has been arrested in Grantham.

Mary Jane Jones, of Abbotts Close, Stamford, was wanted in connection with a common assault, being drunk and disorderly, handling stolen goods, shop theft, outraging public decency, a dangerous dog offence and begging.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said this (Fri) lunchtime: "We previously appealed for assistance in locating Mary Jane Jones, from Stamford, who was wanted for failing to attend Lincoln Magistrates Court on 9 August.

"She was arrested in Grantham at 11.30pm last night and is appearing before Lincoln Magistrates today."
