Village near Grantham suffers attempted ATM theft

An attempt was made to steal an ATM machine in a village north of Grantham late one night this week.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses, CCTV and dash cam footage following the attempted theft of the ATM cash machine at Barkston Service Station on the A607.

They said this afternoon: "We believe this attempt theft was made between 11.30pm and midnight on Monday 15th March.

"Damage was caused to the ATM but nothing was taken.

"We would like to hear from anyone that may have witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area or may have seen any suspicious vehicles.

"We would also like to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage of this area at around the time the incident happened."
