Update: Police reveal more information about woman trapped under lorry after High Street collision

Police have released more information about the woman pedestrian trapped under a lorry in Grantham town centre yesterday.

A Lincolnshire Police spokeman said the woman is 60 years old and from the Grantham area. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The woman was trapped under a lorry following a collision in High Street outside the Edinburgh Woollen Mill at the George Shopping Centre.

The injured woman was freed by emergency services and helped by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital for further treatment.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
