Grantham Town FC Director of Football Adrian Speed has left the role to take up a new position as a Non-Executive Director with the club.

Adrian was appointed Director of Football in 2016 and has a long history with Grantham Town having played 667 times for the Gingerbreads during a career that spanned 16 seasons, including two spells as caretaker manager.

Speaking in his new capacity as Non-Executive Director he said: "In all my experience with the club I've probably seen everything that can happen in a football club.

"The new role will allow me to pass on this knowledge and experience much better.

"The aim of everyone at the moment is to put last season behind us and have a much more enjoyable season to come."
