Former King's School pupil returns to Grantham with award-winning a cappella group

Former King's School pupil Jacob Storey is returning to Grantham with all-male a cappella group Semi-Toned.
The University of Exeter singing group has won national and international awards for its stunning performances and music videos, including Gareth Malone's Choir of the Year in 2016.
They have appeared on national television, including Sky TV's Sing competition and critically acclaimed shows across the US, as well as selling out their last two runs at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Jacob, is the group's musical director and Tenor 1.
Proud dad Kevin Storey, who shared news of his son's performance using the 'Nub It' button onGrantham Nub News, said: "Jacob gained the A level results from The King's School to go to his first choice university which was Exeter.
"He's in his third year of a four-year mathematics course. During his first year he auditioned and got a part in Semi-Toned.
"He's toured the US twice with them and is now embarking on the UK tour."
'Homecoming' is the group's fourth consecutive tour and is being staged at Grantham Guildhall on Wednesday, April 3, at 8pm.
