Essential repairs are being carried out at Grantham's Welham Street and Watergate carparks on Sunday (14 July).

Both will remain open while the work is undertaken.

The work at the Welham Street multi-storey has been re-scheduled from last month when heavy rain meant it could not go ahead.

Entrance and exit to the ground floor will not be affected, but traffic controls will be in place on the ramps up to and down from the floors above.

Traffic management measures will also be in place at Watergate car park.

A spokesperson for South Kesteven District Council, which owns the carparks, said: "We apologise for any inconvenience this work may cause but we have taken steps to keep disruption to a minimum."
