St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice is inviting the Grantham community to remember a loved one at Christmas at its annual Light Up a Life celebration in the town.

The celebration is a special time for families and friends to join together in remembering the people that they love in a reflective environment.

Taking place on Tuesday, 10 December, the celebration will begin at 6pm at St Wulfram's Church.

Lasting between one and one-and-a-half hours, it will feature touching readings, music and a time for quiet reflection; candles will also be lit in remembrance.

The Light Up a Life celebration is free to attend and open to everyone, regardless of faith.
