A popular pub near Grantham has announced the return of breakfast, along with a move into private dining.

The Geese & Fountain at Croxton Kerrial has announced the changes as part of a revised offering during and from September.

Landlord Nick Holden says with the ending of summer, making dining outside less attractive, the pub is to create extra tables by clearing the library and darts area to make way for extra tables.

This is all the more imprtant, he says, as social distancing looks set to continue.

Furthermore, he commented on Facebook: "We're also going to convert the three downstairs B&B rooms into 'private dining rooms' and put a table in each of them. As the weather gets colder these rooms will help to maximise the number of indoor covers we can offer.

"You will soon be able to reserve a specific room for your party of up to six people, allowing you to have a special function in a secluded (and fully socially distanced) space, complete with your own 'en suite' facilities!"

However, the pub will now close on the quieter Monday and Tuesday, though it expects to return to 'open all hours' eventually. It comes
