A popular Grantham pub has confirmed its re-opening date.

Eddie Pimlott, landlord of the award-winning Nobody Inn in North Street, said on social media on May Day Monday: "14 MORE SLEEPS until we open again, and today, the diary is now open for reservations ðŸ¼ðŸ'ðŸ½ðŸ¼ðŸ'ðŸ½.

"As its table service, we strongly advise booking, especially at weekends, and perhaps on our first day ðŸ»"

Eddie, who has run the Grantham CAMRA Town Pub of the Year 2020 for more than 20 years, continued: "We cannot wait to see you all again, it's been a long 27.3 weeks (195 days, 4680 hours)

"Until we are advised of any changes, it's back to the 2020 ways, seated only, 6 per table, track and trace and unless seated masks to be worn, but ..... no 10pm curfew, so resuming 2019 hours."

In the meantime, to help prepare for the May 17 re-opening, the Nobody Inn is also seeking staff.

The venue is also selling take-away growlers of some of Grantham's finest beers.

Bookings can be made on Facebook or by ringing 01476 562206.

Other Grantham pubs have already announced plans to re-open on Monday May 17, as allowed under the government's Roadmap.

They include the popular Beerheadz, on Watergate, just up the road from the Nobody Inn, as previously reported by Nub News.

Until then, pubs can only serve customers outside, something which has prevented the re-opening of pubs without beer gardens, or the beer garden is too small to make re-opening uneconomic.

Grantham Campaign for Real Ale, as also reported by Nub News, has published a guide on the re-opening times of pubs in the area.
