Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a two-vehicle collision this afternoon (Fri) on the A151 Bourne Road in Colsterworth.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "At 4.30pm we were called to reports of a collision between a black Volvo and a white Citroen van.

"The male driver and female passenger in the Volvo and the male driver in the van were all injured and have been taken to hospital for treatment.

"The collision took place on the A151 Bourne Road Colsterworth, close to the A1 junction.

"We would like to hear from anyone who might have any dashcam footage of the incident or anyone who witnessed the collision.

"In addition, anyone who was travelling on the road at the time and has any concerns about how weather conditions and surface water may have affected driving, as heavy rainfall is one of several lines of enquiry into the circumstances involved in the collision."

Road closures are in place at the A1 junction and in the opposite direction from Corby Glen and are expected to remain in place until about 11pm tonight.
