A Grantham tv and video shop may well be converted into a home.

An application to South Kesteven District council seeks the change of use at 78 Bridge End Road.

Mr S Kent of Thorold and Kent says the existing building has a shop at the front, with office, kitchen and WC to rear of ground floor with two offices and bathroom to first floor.

The shop frontage would be replaced with a window, with access using the existing door.

Mr Kent added: "Existing retail unit is for television's etc. However this market has been monopolised by on line retailers and as such there is no future need for it in its current form."
