Man tasered after threatening Grantham Hospital nurse with 'dinner knife'

A man was tasered after threatening a nurse at Grantham Hospital with a 'dinner knife'.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "We were called to Grantham Hospital at 1.12pm on Sunday (4 Aug) following a report that a man had threatened a nurse with a dinner knife.

"A 53-year-old man was tasered and arrested.

"Graham Wright of Dog and Duck Lane, Morton, has been charged with threatening behaviour with intent to cause violence and is appearing before Lincoln Magistrates today (Mon)."
